 Home RSS      It brings me great pleasure to announce my 1st pop up at  Kitchen Garden Café  on Friday 3rd August. YIAYIA MAMA is my means of offering the people of my beloved city a chance to try traditional Greek Cypriot recipes taught to me by both my mother and yiayia (grandmother) ever since I was a young boy. This focus on traditional recipes is combined with creative reinterpretations of some classics for new and interesting flavours. It's a cuisine I am passionate about and excited to share.  The pop-up is the 1st of a series I am planning in Birmingham and this one will be themed around this beautiful summer we're having here. The menu is dictated by my style of cooking: lots of vegetables and textures with meat options for those who want it. Everything is homemade, I wouldn't have it any other way.
